Gary Hoffman, above, sued the Sandia Resort and Casino after it refused to pay a nearly $1.6 million slot machine jackpot. The casino has said the "jackpot" was the result of a slot machine malfunction. For about an hour last August, Gary Hoffman was a very lucky man. Hoffman was playing the nickel slot machines at the Sandia Resort and Casino on an Indian reservation in New Mexico when he appeared to hit the jackpot: the machine said he won nearly $1.6 million. "I became ecstatic," he said. But the ecstasy was short-lived. Hoffman says in a lawsuit filed earlier this year that Sandia refused to pay, claiming that the machine malfunctioned. Apparently this man from the U.K. has had this tattoo of Dumbledore and the name of his five kids for about year and wouldn’t you know it the announcement that this fictional character’s sexual orientation is now torturing this poor soul as he is constantly being teased by his friends and co-workers. Nearly 40 elephants came to a village on Friday looking for food. Some found beer, which farmers ferment and keep in plastic and tin drums in their huts, said Sunil Kumar, a state wildlife official. They got drunk, uprooted a utility pole carrying power lines and were electrocuted in Chandan Nukat, a village nearly 150 miles west of Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya state, Kumar said.
