He's not officially retired, but will always be appreciated and endured by his fans at COLT Studio.  We have some great movies with him in it and he's done some amazing photography as well. We're very proud to have him as a part of the COLT team.

John Rutherford has been spending some time responding to questions posted on his blog. They want to know everything from who's going to be in the next Colt movie, to whether or not he sticks his thumb in his ass when he masturbates. A few weeks ago in Toronto our COLT Men Mitch Branson and Luke Garrett were flown up by our media partners at Maleflixxx to make a very special PRIDE appearance.  I have to say, no other business/media partner, other than the fine folks at COLT Men and our entire COLT Team with grace, gratitude and most importantly honest business etiquette... Scene 4 features COLT Men Luke Garrett and Skye Woods. For me, COLT has always been about natural, muscular men posing and showing off all their hard work they've put into making their bodies the temples they are. Both Luke and Skye have very similar physiques, and like most scenes I direct, I got the men together just minutes before shooting, after the crew has set up the lights and ready.

Scene 3 stars COLT Men Chris Wide and Gage Weston. Since we had signed both COLT Men earlier in the year it was time to set them both up together in a scene. They both encompass beautiful natural muscles, with long legs and wide shoulders, so it was natural to put the two of them together for the first time. Chris Wide is from Germany and at the time of shooting this scene had just been released from the German Navy and came to the US to study. Gage also had a military past; he was a Marine and had been stationed in Afghanistan.

We were in LA for the 2006 GAYVN Video Awards and the previous night we swept the awards for Buckshot's "BuckleRoos." The next day we shot the scene at a house of a friend of Kristofer Weston. Like so many scenes, we often shoot when the men become available and in Jake's case I had worked with him on his first movie many years ago. Back then, Jake?s boyfriend was Trent Reed and I was just the assistant director under Steven Scarborough's directorial regime at Falcon.

For me, "DUAL: Taking It Like A Man" was one of the first COLT movies under our new ownership from the Jim French days as moving more in the direction of what a COLT movie is.... At least for me anyway. "DUAL: TLM" as I recall it for short, was shot as most COLT features have been shot from the beginning... No storylines, but just hot, masculine COLT Men depicted in short scenarios in various locals that represent different erotic places.
